Efficacy of Practicing Spontaneous Qigong for Mind and Body Healing

Abstract
The developed programs of spontaneous Qigong naturally appearing in the particular Qigong state were practiced to 9 experimental subjects for 35 minutes in each session, and then data were collected and analyzed from in-depth interviews about changes in mind and body after training program of spontaneous Qigong. In terms of mind and mental changes, excessive anxiety and worry have been relieved and depressive thinking was reduced. So, the negative psychological state was improved. Subjects got confident and relaxed, and their personality was changed to be gentle. In terms of physical changes, subjects have experienced better digestion and changes in body weight. Their head has cleared up and they slept well. Their fatigue was relieved and physical strength was improved. Overall, they have experienced a vibrant life. In terms of changes in lifestyle and attitude, their living attitude became active and they lived an independent living in which their interest in training was growing. They maintained good posture and life preference became healthy. In terms of changes in thinking of themselves, since self satisfaction was growing and negative image was relieved, they considered themselves important. In terms of changes in thinking of their lives, they seemed to have the hope for their future and the desire to develop themselves. In terms of changes in relationships with other people, they understood it in other people¡¯s position and they thought the relationship with others seriously. Thus, they got thoughtful consideration for other people, and then they experienced better relationship with others. In conclusions, it was shown that the spontaneous haeng gong training program had a diverse and remarkable cure effect on body, mind and general life. Since actions are simple, flexible and easy to learn and it will take a relatively short training period, it is thought that it is the curing method that helps those who live under the fierce competition in a harsh world to live a happy life in which body, mind and spirit are harmonized.
